No. You need a 'clean' CFRM CDS that does not have any awareness of the old CF. Meaning sysplex wide IPL. >Why couldn't I just make sthe sysplex "FORGET" about CF2 ? You could have. *If* you had followed the guidelines as lined out by Mark Brooks in his presentation *before* disconnecting the CF on the old hardware.
