When I send emails to IBM-MAIN, I always try to remember to click the 'Show
plain text' button. Otherwise, the email is sent as rich text and I've been
told that everything flows into one big 'blob' and is difficult to read.

This formatting problem doesn't occur when I send emails to individuals. And
because the default always go back to rich text, I sometimes forget to click
the 'plain text' button when sending emails to IBM-MAIN. Because this is a
pain, I've just reported it to Microsoft and they've asked me to send them an
example of what people receive. So, if anyone is reading this message and the
formatting doesn't look 'right', would you mind sending it back to me so I can
forward it to Microsoft?

Just so you know what the formatting 'should' look like, I manually entered the
following:

This is on a line all by itself.
This is on a line all by itself, and indented 3 spaces.
Same as above but indented 6 spaces.
Once again, but only indented 3 spaces.
Not indented.

The paragraph below is identical to the paragraph above, except that I pasted
it from a mainframe session (just in case it makes any difference):

This is on a line all by itself. This is on a line
all by itself, and indented 3 spaces. Same as above but indented 6
spaces. Once again, but only indented 3 spaces.
   Not indented.

Thanks!
