I also heard about this during the week in San Jose, with this additional -

Ordering for 1.9 ends soon and all 1.9 orders SHOULD be in by mid October, 
deadline being the end of October.  At the GA date for 1.10, FIXCAT data will 
begin to be shipped in the HOLDDATA, including the ServerPac 1.9 orders built 
after the 1.10 GA.  

I too, like Skip mentions, heard the SMP/e at levels 3.3 and 3.4 will not fail, 
but absent the toleration PTF, there will be a LOT of messages to wade through. 
 I plan to put in SMP/e 3.5 myself.
