Lindy, I would suggest doing some searching in the IBM-Main archives (or use the Google groups interface) - have a look for IEAMSCHD or "snooping" - there have been quite a few interesting discussions about this topic in the past - including some pearls of wisdom from people "in the know" - for example Peter Relson, Chris Craddock, Ed Jaffe and Jim Mulder.
