Agreed. For example, when you acquire storage areas using the STORAGE macro, you can list them using VSMLIST. When you acquire storage objects using IARV64, you can list them using IARV64. VSMLIST appeared only after people realized the need to list memory areas existed. The developers of IARV64 learned the lesson well. Similar story for GQSCAN/ISGQUERY to list ENQs, CSVQUERY to list LOADed modules, and many others.

There ought to be a way to list name/tokens. Several popular programs do it without a service. This has been discussed before.
