Why not apply the maint, and create a second SYSRES?  Then if you have
problems a D/R, just reipl with that alternate sysres that has the
maintenance.  You will be a hero then!

Thanks for all replies. The problem is that our DR test is in February.
It
is now 28 Jan. And I can only make changes on "Infrastructure Weekends".
I
simply don't see how I can get all these PTFs into my sandbox & tested,
then
into the development LPAR and test and then into the production LPAR and
tested before the DR date. I guess the DR vendor hoped that we were one
of
the shops who remain current. We only apply maintenance when absolutely
required. And our usual "maintain current" methodology is to install the
newest release of the system, not apply PTFs.
