You're right, why should I care if the standard allows unsafe settings? I do 
because I hate the pop-ups and the page content that constantly moves. It is 
really irritating when I allow ActiveXs.

But thanks for letting me know I am not the only one :-) Misery does love 
company.

Oh, and did I mention that I opened a 'feedback ETR' against servicelink, that 
of course does not get shown via servicelink *at all*, that needs to be viewed 
via ssrprobl which is being sunset in mid-May, and the replacement 
called 'service request' terminates even earlier with IE? The other corporate 
browser, Opera, terminates without even telling me so when asked to display 
those 'new and improved' pages, or it shows me what looks like a java method 
traceback. So much for good programming practises!
