And that makes me wonder why so many people want to know precisely how many MIPS an application is using or try to find ways to shave MSUs from vendor contracts.
Seems about as pointless as taking a cup of water out of a bucket, dumping it back in and then trying to find exactly that same water again. It's a frikkin' bucket! Get one sized for how much water you want to hold. Need a little to water some flowers? Get a little bucket. Need a lot to water livestock? Get a trough. Bean counters have us spend way too many cycles carving up things we can't really define in the first place. My frustration coefficient is rapidly approaching 1.0. :-) Thanks for the help. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
