Vince, As far a I know, on z/OS you will only have a message when a scratch tape has been mounted, not when a specific tape has been mounted. So you will only have the mount times of scratch tapes, correct? This could bias the average mount time, because scratch tapes are usually easily at hand and specific tapes have to be searched for, correct?
