 Restructured Extended Executor
The i5/OS implementation of the Systems Application Architecture Procedures 
Language. REXX is a programming language that is supported by an interpreter 
provided as part of the i5/OS licensed program.
A general-purpose, high-level programming language, particularly suitable for 
EXEC procedures or programs for personal computing.
They consider REXX a language
