How many of us have patiently had to explain to a naïve user why an sftp client connecting to an FTPS server does not work?
To be honest I had to patiently explain that FTPS is not sftp. Sometimes they were upset, especially because I use "some weird non-standard FTPS". I also had to explain that article describing strong security holes in obsolete legacy bad mainframe is just piece of sh*t. Author claimed everyone can access APF library and put some dangerous scripts there. And he did it. Note: scripts, text files. I replied Albert Einstein used to say to not believe in everything from Internet. Was it patient?
