My personal favorite title to cover the security admin functions I did, way back in the dark ages, was "acting assistant security administrator." My director was on paper as the security administrator, his #2 was the assistant security administrator but I was the one who went into RACF and did everything. My director hated the title because a title like that should never exist in Security, but he had to agree that it got the point across. Needless to say, we never shared that little gem with anyone from HR; it was a department in-joke.
