Hello,

Does anybody have experience with SASLIBs defined as DIV files with a
Hiperspace?

I have tried this and have run into 2 problems / questions with them:

1. I constantly receive errors when I define WORK as DIV file. Can
WORK be defined as DIV file?

2. I receive space problems with the DIV SASLIB with Hiperspace
and the space of the DIV SASLIB seems to be limited to the maximum space
of the Hiperspace. Normal z/OS DIV files exploit a Hiperspace, that acts
as a window on the DIV file and the DIV file size is not limited by the
Hiperspace size. Does SAS use a one to one relation of the DIV SASLIB
and the Hiperspace? In other words, is the size of the DIV SASLIB
limited to the maximum size of the Hiperspace?

Both questions are not answered in all the SAS documentation I searched.

Does anybody have the answer or does anybody know where to get more info
on this?

Is SAS monitoring this forum and willing to provide the answers?

Thanks and have a good weekend,

Kees.
