Search SAS NOTES at www.sas.com under support for HIPERSPACE and the first
entry I hit was

Usage Note 18501: Confirming that the WORK library resides in a hiperspace when
using SAS System Option HSWORK.

I think you need to contact [email protected] with your error messages so they
can help you resolve,
as it certainly appears, at least at first glance with minimal effort, SAS has
supported WORK
on HIPERSPACE for a long time.

Merrill yours,

Did you look on sas.com knowledgebase and Tech Notes?

Try http://www.lsoft.com/scripts/wl.exe?SL1=SAS-L&H=LISTSERV.UGA.EDU

or http://www.sascommunity.org/wiki/SAS-L

They're too expensive to monitor these free user community lists... ;-D
