I always go to the IBM Documentation on the web. If you go to the main section links like z/OS MVS - IBM Documentation <https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/2.5.0?topic=zos-mvs> you have links to both the web pages and the PDF books. IBM also has other links where you can download indexed collections of PDFs for those rare times when you need the books but don't have web access.
