If you’re only using it for zOS, I’d like to think you could run it as a container with zCX. Otherwise you’d have to run it under z/VM (recommended) or with KVM in its own LPAR using IFL(s).
If you are looking for a web based front end to z/VM, zPRO should be a better, more efficient option. Plus, you'll wind up with our performance suite for managing it too. Omegamon for z/VM requires Perfkit and has a lot of overhead by comparison.
