A couple perhaps pedantic points:

1. Some machine models with CPACF have neither processor "books" nor MCMs.
The zBC12 and the z114 are examples.

2. Yes, models vary in whether main processor cores have dedicated or
shared CPACF elements. The zEC12, for example, has a CPACF element
associated with every main core (PU).

3. To my knowledge CPACF is always co-resident on the same microprocessor
chip as the PU(s).
