Hello everyone , In one of our client environments , I found that LNKLST datasets are not having enq from XCFAS . Instead i see only LLA holding it . It seems strange to me as i was always under the impression that every LNKLST dataset would have an XCFAS ENQ by default
To add more , i checked the ENQ from ISPF by "just trying to rename and then hit F1 two times to identify the tasks holding it " and couldn't find XCFAS . It shows 4 instances of LLA Am curious how that can happen . Is there a way an XCFAS ENQ can be eliminated while having those datasets in the linklist .We are on Z/os 1.11 running 4 lpars sharing the same LNKLST set for all the LPARS .
