Anne, Glad you got to the bottom of your issue! If the contents of each RNL (INCL, EXNL, and CON) are not exactly the same, then the system enters a disabled wait state during IPL. What may have happened was in the past the RNLs were changed with SET GRSRNL=xx, but the GRSRNLXX used for the recent IPL was not updated. It's a good practice to update all the GRSRNLXX's for the sysplex at once.
