Bruce, How long ago did this occur? If recent, do you have backups of the
environment? My z/OS maintenance environment is packed neatly on a couple of
MOD-54's including TARGET/DLIB, and SMPE control datasets, and I keep 6 weeks'
worth of weekly volume dumps. If it were me, I would restore the entire thing
if I could. And then I'd also want to know *how* they got accepted. Are the
usermods packaged incorrectly? They are ++USERMOD defined? Do you use
panels to generate your JCL? Or do you have canned JCL? When I run my
accepts, I only specify PTFS with GROUPEXTEND, and I have canned JCL to do it,
so less worry about accidentally putting too many YES values in..... Are more
than one person doing SMPE work in the z/OS zones?

Just trying to figure out where the train might have gone off the tracks....

Subject: SMPE: Un-ACCEPTing USERMOD

Hello,

Over the years small errors in processing occassionally happen, and now we have
some USERMODs that have been ACCEPTED.

I am looking for some guidance in setting up some UCLIN to convince SMPE that
this did not really occur.

How to reverse an accidental ACCEPT of a USERMOD.

Any ideas?

Thank you
Bruce Hewson
