That's ok. We can disagree. But please allow me to explain a bit.

Dynamic linklist is one of the more difficult to get right, but there are a lot 
of 
dynamic facilities. I wouldn't want to run a system without them these days. 
Here are a few of the others:

Dynamic IODF
Dynamic APF
Dynamic LPA
Dynamic SSI
Dynamic exits
Dynamic CPU and memory reconfiguration
Dynamic changes to WLM
Dynamic changes to SMS
Pretty much everything that you can change in JES2

Most of these can cause problems if used incorrectly. Many of them also 
make the Sys Prog's life easier.
