I know It's a question about a RACF topic, but we need a workaround to solve
a problem access. We've limited the ISRSUPC program access to the devolpment
teams to avoid searchs in long PDS with many elapsed and cpu time. The problem
that we have It's ISPF use the same program to searching and comparing and now
they can't execute any compare job because RACF denied the access. Is it
posible enable a workaround? Could be créate an alias of ISRSUPC and créate a
JCL with no possibility of update by develop teams?
IMHO it is not RACF question and shouldn't be solved using RACF.
1. Ask developers why they do searches. Talk to them.
2. What kind of PDS they search? Load libraries? text libraries?
3. What about WLM?
Without those details there is no way to propose any reasonable solution.
