Wouldn't it be nice? But how onerous is it to copy a string and paste it into
a browser window.

OTOH, with either technique how would you deal with a URL whose length exceeds
the width of your terminal window? Attachmate has no way of knowing. For many
such purposes, ISPF Edit/Browse/SDSF, etc. ought to support *an*option*of*
wrapping lines in the terminal display rather than requiring horizontal
scrolling.
XEDIT provides the option.

(Ever tried to insert a character in a line wider than your window?)
