Onerous it isn't but the number of times I've shared with users that they can 
copy/paste from and to the 3270 session is why I brought this up.  Then again, 
educating the users to make the necessary reflections change could be just as 
challenging :-)

Inserting into text that exceeds the viewable text is always 'fun'

Wouldn't it be nice?  But how onerous is it to copy a string and paste it into 
a browser window.

OTOH, with either technique how would you deal with a URL whose length exceeds 
the width of your terminal window?  Attachmate has no way of knowing.  For many 
such purposes, ISPF Edit/Browse/SDSF, etc. ought to support *an*option*of* 
wrapping lines in the terminal display rather than requiring horizontal 
scrolling.
XEDIT provides the option.

(Ever tried to insert a character in a line wider than your window?)
