I agree that this forum is no substitute for the SR process, but I for one am 
not sure how to handle it. As written, the procedure for activating the 
function provided by this APAR is potentially deadly. The user should 
absolutely not be advised to RDEFINE command control. If and only if command 
control is already in place, then the including the new function within the 
scope is both appropriate and benign. 

So yes, it should be a HOLD(ACTION), but the entire procedure should be 
reworded to indicate that this is an addition to an already existing framework, 
not Step 1 down a primrose path.

I brought this one to the developer's attention yesterday.  The current thought 
is that we will PE it and SUP it with a PTF that correctly specifies 
REASON(ACTION).

Guys, when you find stuff like this...please open a PMR!
