Did you echo or display the memory or ulimit -a     for the task?  ulimit. User 
limits - limit the use of system-wide resources

REGION=0M is not the best option.  It could use too much below the line storage 
so that termination management cannot function and create S106 or S878 type 
abends

REGION=256M or 512M or whatever you system can handle.
