Try CP RECORDING EREP OFF QID NETVIEW. CP is complaining because RECORDING is ON for NETVIEW, but NETVIEW isn't connected to the *LOGREC system service. CP should remember the OFF state (for warm IPLs) and not complain any more until you get around to doing a cold start. The issue for a COLD start is that the RECORDING command also creates an authorization. The cold start deletes that authorization. Alan Altmark z/VM Development IBM Endicott
