Neither the z/VM 5.2.0 nor the z/VM 5.3.0 starter systems have T-DISK.

Respectfully, I find it a little hard to believe that your 5.2
system did not come shipped with TDISK (or TDSK). I'm reasonably
confident that all recent versions of VM have TDSK defined when they're
installed. Did someone delete it after 5.2 was installed? I would then
question why they did it because TDSK always comes in handy. Plus the
amount defined at initial install isn't very big, so it isn't using much
disk space. However, reflecting on the install process, it's been over
a year since I installed 5.2, there may be an option to install TDSK
during the initial install. Maybe it was glossed over during the
install.

Sorry it's been awhile, our 5.2 system doesn't have any TDSK
defined and I would like to define 100 cylinders as TDSK. I have a
volume that I use for allocating mini disks, its approx. 75% empty and I
want to allocate the last 100 cylinders as TDSK.
Can this be done with an IPL? And to do allocate the space do
I just invoke CPFMTXA, then ALLOCATE TDSK?
Thanks
