I don't know how far back Ivan goes. I myself go back almost as far as Sir Lynn and look back fondly on the days I would discover something wrong, call it in to IBM and find no fix available yet, sit down with the source (which was right there), find the bug, fix it and reassemble, test and pass the fix to IBM as a suggestion, and have the exact fix come back a PUT or two later.
