Over the years, I have come to dislike the generic use of HCP2830I to imply things about the state of the VSWITCH and its transparent view of the internal workings of CP. HCP2799E indicates the VSWITCH is not in a state that allows the device to be changed. The state, per HCP2830I, is "ready". Not very informative. The point of the messages is that the VSWITCH is operating with an active OSA and you tried to take it away. If memory serves, you can SET VSWITCH DISCONNECT to deactivate the OSA, then SET VSWITCH RDEV 2708 CONNECT to add 2708 and start traffic flowing. (I don't think SET VSWITCH RDEV NONE is required.) OSA management with link aggregation port groups is much easier - you just add and delete OSAs from the group.
