The commit fixes to customize the orientation with ibus-setup.
I think you can choose either the horizontal or vertical mode with
ibus-setup
and your problem is fixed?
That fix was made after latest release of ibus, so users would need to
build the Git version of ibus to avoid the problem.
BTW, since the adjust_window_position() function from
ibus-1.5.4/ui/gtk3/panel.vala already cope with the screen margin problem,
I think something wicked might prevented the function from taking effect.
Though the issue can be alleviated by the next release (with previously
mentioned fix), it would still be nice if the issue can be complete
resolved :)
