I cannot reproduce your problem and I don't think your problem is caused by
ibus.
Did you see the same problem when ibus is not running?
'ibus exit' command can exit the process of ibus-daemon.
Did you see your problem with any client applications? xterm,
gnome-terminal?
Did you see your problem in another desktop?
Maybe your desktop is xfwm while I cannot read strings on your movie.
