The problem is, the ibus-daemon process is using >10% of CPU while I am
simply typing quickly in English / ASCII (or hitting lots of keys at
random), as shown in "top". I reproduced it on two computers, an ASUS
G75VW 8 core laptop running Linux Mint stable, and a Samsung netbook
running Debian stable. On the netbook, I could get ibus-daemon to use >35%
CPU (of one of the cores) by hittings lots of keys at random quickly. Of
course I could not see this problem when ibus-daemon is not running, the
problem is that ibus-daemon is using too much CPU. There is no serious
impact on the computer except that everything else would run a bit slower
while this is going on; nevertheless it's not okay for a component to be so
inefficient like that.
