Thanks, Ralph, the dropper is a great idea.

The M-18 comes with the Hurth HBW-50 (2:1)

Use AFT Type A oil only or Dextron II and fill the gearbox up to the FULL 
indented ring mark on the dipstick, approximately 1/4 of the way up the 
dipstick. Do not overfill. Always use the same type when adding or changing oil.

When checking level - dipstick to be INSERTED only...do not screw in. Tighten 
after adding or checking fluid.

Quantity is .29 quarts = .30 liters
