i installed a 3 blade campbell sailor prop this year getting rid of my old 2 blade. what an amazing difference. far more low end thrust getting in and out of my slip now under wind is easy as well it dropped my upper end rpm down a few hundred and i didnt lose any top end performance if anything under bigger seas i have more top end than before. if you read the writeups on the campbell sailor prop practical sailor shows stats that say it has less drag than a typical 2 blade due to its design.
