Hi John, 

It's an '84 and I wouldn't be surprised if you were right and that I have to go 
through and replace each and every terminal. I changed one A/C outlet to GFCI 
because there was a leak from one of the ports above and the wires (the ground 
in particular) were completely shot.
Do you know of a wiring diagram for the engine instrument panel? If not, I 
suppose I can just follow what currently exists now. I really dislike the 
location of all of the electrical in the port lazarette. I don't know where I 
else I would put everything, it just seems so vulnerable to damage, water, etc..

Thanks for the tip on the ratcheting crimper and the bundle above the engine. 
Good thing there's lots of room to work in there so this won't be a job I 
dread.  :-)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if having a few 'problems' with my 
boat is the type of problems I'm having, I'm a lucky man.
