I do not know that much about Bowleys Quarters Marina. I thought it was a
"condo" marina where the slips are owned by the boat owners. You may wish to
check out Maryland Marina, a full service marina, on Frog Mortar. There are
few C27s there
I am slipped at Hilltop Marina, which is not shown on my chart but it is on
Hopkins Creek, opposite side of the peninsula from Essex Marina. Also not shown
on my chart is Galloway Creek Marina, around the bend from Bowleys. Is is a
little run down but the prices are right..

Fair Winds and Following Seas to all who sail upon the waters!

Two questions:
1) Does anyone have any input re: Bowleys Quarters Marina? We're
thinking of moving across from the Eastern Shore - it's over an hour
closer to our house and somewhat less expensive.
2) We have a 1975 C27 that had an Atomic 4 (which expired and was
removed & replaced by an outboard on a bracket). There's a drain hole
in the transom (for the cockpit). It takes on water when we're
motoring faster than a crawl - we plug it with a removable rubber plug
but what if it's pouring rain while we're out there? Anybody have any
ideas.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Splendid Solstice & a happy 2010!
