[IC27A] How deep is the rock i'm speeding towards?

hi all,

can anyone clue me in as to why both my depth sounder and my speed-log aren't 
reading? they're both getting power and they're both displaying things other 
that that which i wish for, akin to the blinking 12:00 on the VCR mocking my 
presence. we had the first of the season sail today for our family with nice 
breezes and great weather. now if i can just tell how fast i'll be going when i 
run aground i'll be set.- thanks!
