i have, in fact, received confirmation of an alien ship landing in the nearby vicinity. i've been informed that the capt. of said ship will be making contact with me later on this week to go over the benefits of some antifouling paints over others. i'm also told that these lifeforms are very schooled in the arts of archaic electronic instruments, i.e. depth sounders and speed logs, and will be more than happy to oblige a fellow voyager such as myself. do any of you have any questions or messages you'd like me to relay? i'm also thinking of bringing up the "what does everyone keep aboard for drinking?" question that has become quite the discussion here. hopefully they'll have some insight on the best libation to imbibe when star travelling. wish me luck!
