Are you also working on the bilge floor and subfloor.

On my 1978, I found there was water under the fiberglass floor of the
bilge. I found numerous cracks in the fiberglass, that showed up when I heated
the fiberglass a bit. So, I'm now in the process of removing the fiberglass
and drying out the plywood subfloor, etc. The guess is that the problem
arises due to the age of the boat and multiple freezing and thawings of the
water that gets left in the bilge over the many years.

You might want to put new threads on the keelbolts, and then use the
appropriate nuts.

So we thought we were already to launch this Friday but while working today
my husband found 3 of our keel bolt nuts are rusted and stripped. Does
anyone know the size of the bolt nuts for an 82? I think the years 78 to 84
are the same size.

Thanks!
Vicki
