Absolutely, and why shouldn't a horse be able to gait
in hand? I am not saying perfectly, the gait at
liberty doesn't always look just like it does under
saddle. I am now wondering about how such classes
would be judged? It seems to me that a wide variety of
in hand gaiting would be acceptable, maybe just some
variation of lateral gait? How long?

I do think that the KMSH people allow evaluation tapes
of gaiting in hand, I wonder if there are some kind of
standards?
