I just listened to it. First, I wish they would all
get their definition of tolt straight, I mean all have
the same definition. He said it was a singlefoot gait,
with even 4 beat. That's what I always heard them say.
Now the USIHC has a different definition. I will have
to look at their show rules, I think it is *supposed*
to be a singlefoot gait.

Did Gudmar sound a little uncomfortable to anyone else
when Rick Lamb asked him what would happen to a nasty
stallion, would he be gelded? :) Maybe eat him.

Can people do the training themselves? He said basic
training yes, like stop, go, but keeping the gaits
separate, you need someone who knows what they are
doing with Icelandics$$$$$ An American Saddlebred
trainer might do...

Rick Lamb asked him if you use a loose rein on pace,
he said you want a light rein.

Oh and the natural horsemanship thing. Trying to sound
like he uses natural horsemanship. You know, maybe
these Icelandic trainers in the US should go to see
what natural horsemanship is about, he didn't really
convince me, at all. Sorry.
