Could be the reason I'm overly cautious. I know how easily a simple fall can result in punctured lungs by ribs leading to several weeks in ICU intubated. This happened to my former boss on her deadbroke horse. I've seen several people hurt seriously and even killed by horses especially since this is a big horse and cow town.
