This can happen from time to time....just let your farrier or
barefoot trimmer know that they were sore after the trim, and tell
them about the discoloration change in their white line.  

We like it if we get a call when the owner notices something, that
way we can talk to the owner directley and give them suggestions of
what to do.  We can never help 6 weeks later when we come back
out.....So call your trimmer, its their job to help you out if their
is an issue with the trim.

Aside from that soreness from something like this usually only lasts
a few days....give them the best pasture or paddock for soreness, and
soaking is epsom salt can be a mild relief from any discomfort.....
