We are in Oregon in the tiny (church,post office, school) little community of Applegate. We're so far south in Oregon you could ride a bike or a fit horse to the California border from here. Portland is five hours north and that's where they flew our son Monday for surgery. It's a beautiful city and I have always thought I could happily live there, but we have much better weather.
