Unless you are in a bidding war with another real buyer (not a 'potential'
buyer made up by the RE agent to get you to think there is another buyer),
there is nothing to be lost by waiting for a few days after the sellers come
back with an offer. It often plays out that the seller then begins to worry
that you may back out and begins to make more reasonable concessions without
you having to do a thing but wait. It can be nerve wracking, but silence can be
powerful. There is a reason for the saying"Buy in haste, repent in
leisure"...so take a little breather, its not an auction!
