OH.  This is cool.  Remember when the state vet said they were "99.9%
positive it came from" down south and not my place...  I learned at
the forum that when they find rabies in an animal they can trace the
"variant" form and have a good idea what animal exposed it.  Like if
its a bat, there are so many bat species and some are known to only be
in say, the florida peninsula and rarely in the panhandle and vice
versa.  They can tell pretty sure if the host animal was a fox,
raccoon, skunk, variety of bat etc.  I thought that was cool.  I wish
they had told me what got Stali.
