It certainly can.  Out here we are just fortunate if and when the vet
comes....a lot of people trailer their horses an hour to 3 hours one
way for vet visits out here.  

Know any good vets that like great weather?

There are only 4 equine vets on island, and one has a part time job
at the racetrack in Thailand...so it depends on racing season if he
is here.

Lucky for us that Sally went through medical school, a lot of it
transfers over, plus a lot of reading huge equine vet books.
