Dee, this is what I do--I separate the vax and give them myself, giving 2 weeks in between. Altho my background is nursing so I know the basics of giving an injection, my vet showed me how to give them properly to a horse. Saves money and is a little safer for the horse than giving all the vax at one time. I do this for my dogs too, altho I take them to the vet and separate as much as possible. My vet is holistic, and so they don't charge extra for each visit--just the initial exam. Then they only charge for the vaccine itself when I go back. I don't give the dogs their vax myself b/c I had a dog that had horrible anaphylactic reactions to vaccines, so it gives me the willies to think about doing my dogs here at home. Robyn S
