>>> The news is not good. I just spoke with Judy; she is under mandatory
evacuation and was leaving her house with husband and horses as we spoke.
Just a couple of hours ago she was receiving other evacuees, including my
Hnisa. I will be calling her with information about the lady in Norco who
has room there for a few horses.

Oh gosh, this is horrible, Gail. My prayers are with all of you, including
Judy, her husband, Charm, Cookie, you and your lovely Hnisa. Judy is always
there for us...I sure hope there are people there for them now that they
need it.

I heard earlier that Linda, who used to be on the list, and from whom I
bought Trausti, had to evacuate earlier, and that her nursery business is
burned out. She wasn't sure about her house, if it was ok. Has anyone
heard from Linda? Gosh, Linda and Judy were so great to us when that crazy
hauler took Falki and Skjoni AWOL. Linda boarded them for me after Judy
found them, until I could arrange another hauler. I wish I were closer, so
I could repay the favor.

>>>I am located in Oceanside only a couple of miles from the coast. Sky is
still blue with only a little bit of smoke. I am about 5 miles south of
Camp Pendleton marine base. Your thoughts and prayers are needed and most
welcome. Will try to keep the list updated as I can.

Stay safe, Gail.
